Recently, the Ministry of Agriculture issued the first batch of new occupation farmers training demonstration base (NOFTDB), and Freshwater Fisheries Research Center was selected successfully as one of bases. There are 100 institutions selected as the first batch. Based on great contribution to capacity building in fishery and aquaculture, FFRC became the only one NOFTDB among the subsidiary institutes of Chinese Academy of Fishery Science.
